After the launching ceremony, delegates, officials, people and students participated in running around Nguyen Tat Thanh Square with a length of 1 km. After that, athletes participated in the Tien Phong Cross Country Race in the men's category for the distance of 7 km; women's category for the distance of 3 km; men's category for the distance of 6 km; women's category for the distance of 2.5 km.
Olympic Running Day for the Health of All People is a mass sports event organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province on the occasion of March every year, in conjunction with the celebration of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27) on a provincial scale.
