The competition had the participation of 8 units with over 500 Youth Union members in Da Nang city with the theme "Welcoming the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union in Da Nang City, 2024-2029 term."
The competition segments were performed to the welcoming music of the Congress, and the units were allowed to choose additional lively and heroic songs about youth, young people, and the love for the homeland and the country... The performances were staged for 5-8 minutes.
The competition had the following scoring criteria: costume, technique, welcoming message for the Congress, sound, team formation, and body language.
The award structure of the competition included: 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes, and 3 consolation prizes.
In addition, the Vietnam Youth Union in Da Nang City presented the "Design Competition for Model Gates and Camps" award for outstanding products displayed at the Congress and the "Da Nang Youth Dance Cover Competition" award.
At the competition, comrade Nguyen Ba Duân, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union in Da Nang City, shared: "This is an activity aimed at creating a healthy and useful playground for young people; at the same time, it is an opportunity for Youth Union officials, young leaders, and members to exchange and improve their skills in union work and youth movement, and to strengthen relationships and learn from each other's experiences."
Earlier, from August 6-7, the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union in Da Nang City, 2024-2029 term, was also successfully held.
