After Barcelona's victory over Levante, coach Hansi Flick made reviews of the team and the performance of rookie Marcus Rashford.

In the second round of La Liga, Barcelona struggled against Levante. In the first half alone, Hansi Flick and his students were behind by 2 goals. However, they quickly returned with 3 goals in the second half thanks to Pedri, Torres and Unal, thereby successfully turning the tide with a score of 3-2.

Still holding the top spot after a difficult match, coach Flick praised his student. He also revealed that he had to make drastic changes in the middle of the match: I am proud of my team. We tried to come back and get three points; we believed until the last minute".

Marcus Rashford made his first La Liga start against Levante. To be fair, the English striker did not play too badly. He passed the ball 100% successfully, creating 2 chances to lead to opportunities for his teammates. However, the former Man United star had to give way to Dani Olmo right after the break.

Speaking about the move to withdraw Rashford quite early, coach Hansi Flick affirmed that it brought about results: "Marcus had a few chances in the first half and showed that he could also help.

But in the second half, we needed a change and bringing Raphinha to the wing to bring efficiency. The first goal helped us change the game.

One notable point is Rashford's successful passing rate of up to 98% after 2 matches in La Liga. For a winger, this statistic is not necessarily positive, but shows that player is passing too safely and not making enough breakthroughs. Marcus' failure to score or assist also supports this view.

Having moved to Barcelona on loan in the summer of 2025, Marcus Rashford hopes to regain his form. However, with his current performance, he will find it difficult to compete with Raphinha in the near future.
