Sun Life will partner with Saigon Heat to ignite the passion for basketball, promote the development of this sport in the country and carry out community programs that inspire the younger generation. Sun Life will partner with VBA, becoming the life insurance partner for the VBA 5x5 tournament.
In the second year of cooperation, Sun Life continues to affirm its role as a strategic partner of Saigon Heat in the 2025 VBA 5x5 season, while expanding its partnership to prestigious international 3x3 tournaments such as 3x3 SUPER PREMIER and 3x3.EXE PREMIER.
In 2023 and 2024, Sun Life and Saigon Heat organized the High Hoops Festival, attracting more than 4,000 young players from 5 localities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An, Da Nang and Hai Phong. The children not only practiced basketball skills from Saigon Heat players and coaches but also had the opportunity to watch VBA matches live.
In April 2024, Sun Life, Saigon Heat and Beyond Sport renovated the basketball court called "Sun Life Sports Space" to promote healthy lifestyles for young people. Here, Sun Life organized many activities such as the Saigon Sister Championship for women's basketball, free basketball classes and coach training workshops.
