Ho Chi Minh City won the 2024 National Vovinam Championship

Ho Chi Minh City delegation excellently won first place in the 2024 National Vovinam Championship in Quang Nam.

On October 5, the 2024 National Vovinam Championship officially ended, after 5 days of exciting competition.

The tournament was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam in coordination with the Department of Sports and Physical Training and the Vietnam Vovinam Federation. The tournament had more than 400 athletes from 34 provinces, cities and sectors nationwide, competing for 48 sets of medals in 2 categories: combat and form.

With the achievement of winning 13 gold medals, 1 silver medal, 3 bronze medals, including 11 gold medals in martial arts, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation excellently won the first prize overall.

Can Tho delegation won second place overall with 9 gold medals and 2 silver medals (all in martial arts), Thanh Hoa delegation ranked third with 6 gold medals (all in combat), 7 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals.

The host team Quang Nam ranked fourth with 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal.
