This is the first time Thu Huong and Huynh Duoc have tried their hand at the music genre, playing the role of a troubled couple - Huong and Hung.
Waiting for someone is a love story of women in a countryside. Everyone has different circumstances, but the downfall is fatigue, waiting and having to live in separation sadness.
There, there were two young people, Huong (Thu Huong) and Hung (Huynh That). The film is a story that spans from the time they were in love, the first pure emotions until Hung had to leave his hometown to go far away to start a business.
Then there are the short-lived confidences, followed by bad news, misunderstandings, then waiting and finally the end of the sad love story.

Based on the love script, the crew combined more than 20 familiar bolero songs such as Nang len xom ngheo, Lau dai tinh yeu, Nguoi tinh khong den, Sau le bong, Sao chua thay hoi am, Xin goi nhau la co co nhan, Duoc tin em cuoi... The songs were performed entirely in the form of live singing. Thu Huong and Huynh That, each taking on more than a dozen songs, created many emotions for listeners.
The crew's efforts were recognized when they tried to renew the familiar bolero music genre. Incorporating a love script to knit the songs helps viewers sympathize more easily instead of just listening to singing one by one.
