Use creative AI in teaching
With the desire to help students, especially students in remote areas, access a wider world of knowledge, over the years, Ms. Tran Thi My, an English teacher at Bac Lieu High School, has made efforts to explore, create, and carry out many research projects and topics on the application of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve teaching efficiency.

At the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms. Tran Thi My and her colleagues founded the "Mekong Creative Teachers" group to share technology skills and online teaching methods with teachers in remote areas. Under the dedicated guidance of Ms. My, many teachers have overcome the worry of "teaching on screen", confidently using technology to keep the learning rhythm for students in the middle of the extracurricular season.
At the same time, Ms. My was a speaker at the online conference on VietTESOL English teaching in 2021, sharing her experience in innovating lectures, to help students feel that online learning is as close and attractive as in real classrooms.
Ms. My shared: With available English capital, I can access foreign newspapers, software, etc. My goal is to spread and help colleagues and students take advantage of technology to make teaching and learning more convenient.
Continuously learning and innovating, in 2022, Ms. My was honored to present a scientific paper at Nha Trang University. In 2023, she continued to impress when attending a workshop at the People's Security Academy, with a presentation " application of AI and Robot in English teaching", receiving many positive responses from experts.
In 2024, Ms. My presented the topic " application of AI and DiD Website in improving the ability to speak English naturally for high school students" at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. This is a highly practical project, aiming to help rural students access international audio standards.
Notably, also in 2024, she had the opportunity to report at the SEAMEO Vietnam Center, sharing practical initiatives on applying the Blooket platform to English teaching, helping students become more excited when learning through games. In addition, she also introduced how to apply AI tools such as grammarly and Quillbot to improve English writing skills for students - a direction that is considered modern, practical and in line with the teaching trend of the digital age.
Continuing her research journey, in 2025, Ms. My presented the topic "Blended Learning - Combined teaching for students in disadvantaged areas" at Can Tho University, demonstrating the passion of a teacher who always aims to improve students' knowledge.
Ready to share experiences
In addition to the topics presented at the workshop, Ms. My has had many international scientific articles published with the ISBN index, affirming her academic reputation and her continuous efforts in research and innovation.
To make teaching activities more effective, Ms. My has approached information technology applications and creative teaching tools. For 4 consecutive school years (2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021 and 2021-2022), she was recognized by Microsoft globally as an Creative Education Expert. At the same time, she was also chosen as the ambassador of ClassDojo - Teaching and learning management application; Super Trainer of Quizizz - Effective teaching application; Expert Leader 2021-2022 -craft Programming; Nearpod Trainer - Online teaching application.

Not only is Ms. My a pioneer in the application of technology, she is also loved by students for her positive spirit, creative teaching style and humane way of inspiring English learning. Students only study really well when they feel happy and confident that they can do it, Ms. My shared.
After more than 30 years of working in the teaching profession, Ms. Tran Thi My still maintains the fire of dedication, creativity and love for her students. She is willing to share her experience with all teachers with the same passion.
Ms. Tran Thi My was born on December 1, 1974, graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English Pedagogy (TESOL) from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education in 1997. Since then, he has been teaching English at Bac Lieu High School. In 2014, she received her Master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TESOL) from Southern Australia. Since 2019, she has been Microsoft's Creative Education Expert ( Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert) and Microsoft's Creative Education Coach ( Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer).
