On September 9, at Le Quy Don High School, the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City coordinated with Sojitz Vietnam Co., Ltd. to organize the awarding of scholarships to students in difficult circumstances who strive to improve their studies at 84 secondary and high schools in the city.
On behalf of the education sector, Director of the Department of Education and Training Le Thi Bich Thuan also acknowledged Sojitz's companionship over the past 8 years.
At the same time, it affirmed that the program has practical significance, helping students gain more confidence, overcome difficulties and strive to achieve high results.
The Sojitz scholarship not only provides material support but also has spiritual value, demonstrating sharing and accompanying studious students, motivating students to assert themselves and nurture their dreams.
This time, the unit awarded 230 scholarships, each worth 2.5 million VND, with a total cost of 575 million VND. In addition, Sojitz Vietnam Co., Ltd. also sponsored 900 recorder flute players for 20 primary schools, worth 120 million VND.
This is the 8th year the Sojitz scholarship program has been implemented in Da Nang. Previously, since 2012, the scholarship was maintained annually by the company in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
