On September 24, Dong A University held the Opening Ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year. At the program, the city leaders also presented Dong A University Emulation Flag of Da Nang City People's Committee to the unit with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement of the city in the period of 2020-2025.
Attending and speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that Dong A University has, is and will contribute to in training and providing human resources to contribute to the development of businesses, the city as well as all regions of the country.
The great determination, strong innovative thinking and long-term vision of the School's Board of Directors, thereby gradually affirming the school's position in its functions and training mission, focusing on the fields of economy, engineering, tourism, language and health.
At the Opening Ceremony, Dong A University donated the Anh Dao Flower Scholarship Fund with a total value of more than 43 billion VND to award scholarships for talent and encourage learning to new students in 2025.
Of which, more than 200 talent scholarships are awarded to students with high input results in the 2025 admission period, including a full scholarship (100% of tuition for the entire course), a part-time scholarship (50% of tuition for the entire course) and 30% of tuition for the entire course.
Thousands of scholarships worth 7 million VND/scholarship support students on the first day of school.
At the same time, at the program, more than 110 Vietnam - Japan Bridge scholarships, scholarships from the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang and scholarships for accompanying businesses were also awarded to excellent students and those who have studied in various fields.
At the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Thanh Viet, Vice Principal of Dong A University, also sent a message to new students: "From now on, they will start learning foreign languages, practicing attitudes and working skills, especially professional skills in the most professional way.
