Accompanying high school students in Nam Dinh to start a business

Nam Dinh - Vietnam Academy of Agriculture in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training of Nam Dinh province organized a workshop on " set-up and innovation journey from high school".

In order to nurture ideas and passion for entrepreneurship right from high school, on the afternoon of March 8, at Nguyen Khuyen High School (Nam Dinh City), the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture coordinated with the Department of Education and Training (GDDT) of Nam Dinh province to organize a workshop on "Stortup and Innovation Journey from High School".

The workshop "Start-up journey from high school" was organized in a direct format with students of Nguyen Khuyen High School, combined with online format to high schools in the province. With the participation of leaders of the Department of Education and Training, leaders of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture and especially speakers and entrepreneurs who have succeeded in starting a business.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Bui Van Khiet - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nam Dinh province - said that today's workshop aims to equip high school students with knowledge and entrepreneurial skills. At the same time, it discovers and nurtures students with a passion for science and technology and arouses the spirit and aspiration to start a business in young people.

Also at the workshop, in the seminar, representatives of businesses, lecturers of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, Department of Education and Training, and the Board of Directors of Nguyen Khuyen High School answered students' questions across the province about startup activities and startup ideas. Along with that, it provides many useful information about human resource needs in the digital age and current labor market trends, helping students have reasonable career choices before the national high school exam and the entrance exam of universities and colleges.

Prof. Dr. Pham Van Cuong - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture - said that at the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, many startup ideas have been nurtured, nurtured, and developed from high school students. When they become students of the academy, those ideas will continue to develop at a higher level, and can become a backpack for them after graduating from university and entering life. Many businessmen who are former students of the academy have succeeded and made very important contributions to the socio-economic development of the country and the locality thanks to startup ideas from their college days.
