At nearly 7:00 a.m. on June 27, at the Thang Long High School for the Gifted in Da Lat exam location, exam care officers and support forces discovered two contestants, Ho Nguyen Thien Vu and Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao (grade 12 students, Hermann Gmeiner Da Lat High School) riding a motorbike in a nearby traffic accident.
Contestant Ho Nguyen Thien Vu was seriously injured in his left leg and head while driving a motorbike. Contestant Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao, who sat behind, suffered multiple scratches on her right leg.
Immediately afterwards, forces at the exam locations, especially Traffic Police Team No. 1, Da Lat area under the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Police promptly took candidate Thien Vu to Lam Dong General Hospital for emergency care.

After the doctors handled and temporarily tied the leg, contestant Ho Nguyen Thien Vu was urgently taken back to the exam spot by the units and medical staff to take the final two subjects in time.
After finishing the test, contestant Ho Nguyen Thien Vu said that he was still quite hurt after a traffic accident but did quite well in the test. Thien Vu expects the test to be about 7-7.5 points.
Similarly, contestant Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao emotionally said that when she was hit by a traffic accident and had scratches on her hand and foot, she was very worried. But after that, he was encouraged by teachers and staff, so he calmed down and took the test well.
Immediately after finishing the 2 elective subjects this morning, the relevant units, teachers of Hermann Gmeiner Da Lat Primary School as well as his family continued to take candidate Thien Vu back to Lam Dong General Hospital for treatment.
Along with more than 1.1 million candidates nationwide, this year, Lam Dong has nearly 17,000 candidates officially entering the first day of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.
