More than 400 candidates compete at the Youth Informatics Competition in Lam Dong

Lam Dong - The 31st Youth Informatics Competition, 2025, was held at Da Lat University with 429 competitors, and 105 prizes were awarded.

This event was organized by Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Education and Training of the province on May 25.

Mr. Ndu Ha Bien - Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union said that the Youth Informatics Competition is a prestigious intellectual playground, a place to arouse the passion for technology in young people. Thereby, strongly spreading the movement of learning and researching IT in schools and the youth force of the province.

This is also a place to nurture and develop young talents, supplementing high-quality resources to serve the digital transformation and sustainable development of the locality and the country, Mr. Ndu Ha Bien shared.

According to Mr. Ndu Ha Bien, the contestants in this contest are students studying at schools from primary to high school in Lam Dong province. The number also increased compared to previous years with 35 products, divided into 7 competition groups.

Specifically, Group A has142 candidates taking the primary programming skills test; Group B has 108 candidates taking the secondary programming skills test.

For Group C1, there are 50 candidates taking the high school programming skills exam (specialized block); Group C2 has 38 candidates taking the high school programming skills exam (no-specialized block).

Group D1 has 36 primary school candidates taking the creative product exam; Group D2 has 42 secondary school candidates taking the creative product exam; Group D3 has 13 high school candidates taking the creative product exam.

Mr. Ndu Ha Bien said that many entries are of high professional quality, demonstrating the intelligence, strong creativity and technological acumen of young people in the digital age.

"Here, Lam Dong has selected a team to participate in the 2025 National Youth Informatics Competition to be held in Da Nang city in the near future," Mr. Ndu Ha Bien added.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 105 prizes to outstanding contestants and products, including 7 First Prizes, 14 Second Prizes, 14 Third Prizes and 70 Encouragement Prizes.
