Hung Yen strives to be in the group of 10 leading provinces in the country in education by 2030

Hung Yen - Hung Yen aims to become a high-quality educational center, comprehensive development and international integration by 2045.

On the afternoon of November 12, Mr. Pham Van Nghiem - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting of the Provincial People's Committee to listen to and give opinions on the plan to implement breakthrough goals for the development of education and training in the province.

According to the draft, by 2030, Hung Yen aims to be in the group of 10 leading provinces and cities in education; complete universal preschool education for children aged 3-5 years, compulsory education until the end of junior high school; 95% of educational institutions meet national standards and 100% of high schools complete comprehensive digital transformation.

By 2035, the province strives to complete phoising high school, 60% of graduates have achieved foreign language proficiency of level 2 or higher, 80% of vocational training institutions meet national standards, and form a central college for high-quality vocational training. By 2045, Hung Yen aims to have a modern, fair, internationally integrated education system and become a center for training highly skilled human resources in the Red River Delta.

To achieve these goals, the province focuses on raising awareness and political determination in educational development; innovating specific mechanisms and policies; promoting digital transformation, applying artificial intelligence in teaching and learning; building a team of teachers and educational managers with sufficient capacity and qualities; developing vocational education, elevating higher education; strengthening international cooperation and integration.

At the meeting, delegates contributed opinions on key tasks, coordination mechanisms, investment in facilities, digital transformation infrastructure and improving the quality of the teaching staff. Concluding the meeting, Mr. Pham Van Nghiem suggested that the Department of Education and Training complete the plan, ensuring feasibility, synchronization with practical conditions; at the same time, closely coordinate with departments, branches and localities to effectively implement the set goals.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that improving the quality of comprehensive education, developing virtue, intelligence, physical strength and aesthetics for students, while preparing facilities, digital transformation and applying modern technology are decisive factors for Hung Yen to become a high-quality educational center, integrating internationally in the coming years.
