According to a report by Thai Binh High School for the Gifted, the school currently has over 1,500 students, more than 100 staff and teachers. In recent years, the school has always focused on innovating teaching and learning methods, improving the quality of comprehensive education; students won many high prizes in international and domestic excellent student competitions. In the 2024 - 2025 school year alone, 73 students participated in the national competition, of which 52 students won prizes.
The school's facilities are basically synchronous, meeting teaching and learning requirements; the dormitory currently receives about 300 students, most of the daily living and accommodation costs are supported by the school.
Speaking at the meeting with the school, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Thai Binh High School for the Gifted is the pride of the province, with a long tradition and many contributions to the cause of education. The provincial leaders acknowledged, congratulated and commended the outstanding achievements of the school's teachers and students in recent school years.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that in order to effectively implement the key education and comprehensive education strategy in the coming period, Thai Binh High School for the Gifted needs to continue to innovate and make breakthroughs in thinking and teaching methods in management and teaching activities with the goal of taking students as the center, in which all policies, programs, teaching methods and organizing activities of the school must be aimed at the comprehensive development of students.
Students are not only equipped with solid cultural knowledge but also trained in skills, creative thinking, self-study ability, adaptability and integration skills; linking learning in class with experiential activities, extracurricular activities, scientific research and education on life values. In addition, the school also needs to proactively identify difficulties and find solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning, worthy of being the spearhead school of the province.
At the same time, it is necessary to advise the province to have appropriate mechanisms and policies, and a fair and objective recruitment process to attract and select a team of teachers with real capacity.
In the immediate future, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction and the Department of Education and Training to coordinate with schools and related units to focus on renovating, repairing, and upgrading facilities; adding classrooms and teaching equipment; building green - clean - beautiful landscapes and architecture; promoting the construction of smart schools, applying science and technology, and digital transformation. From there, gradually build an educational environment "standard of standards, model of models" in the whole industry.
