On January 21, in Hai Lang district (Quang Tri province), the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association opened the 2025 Quang Tri Provincial Spring Press Festival.
The Spring Press Festival is a traditional cultural activity, honoring the contributions of the press to the country's development, and is also an opportunity to connect the press with the government, businesses and people.
In 2024, despite facing many difficulties, Quang Tri press has made efforts to truthfully reflect the political, economic and cultural events of the province, promoting the image of the country and people of Quang Tri to friends across the country.
The Spring Newspaper Festival displayed more than 300 newspapers, magazines, and newsletters with nearly 1,000 publications from the central government, industry, and provinces and cities.
Here, Hai Lang District Youth Union also introduced digital transformation products, in which virtual reality (VR) glasses were used to experience local scenic spots.
In addition, the Organizing Committee coordinated with press agencies and benefactors to present 185 gifts. The total value of the gifts was over 92 million VND, for poor students who overcame difficulties in Hai Lang district. Of which, Lao Dong Newspaper connected with Quang Tri Hydropower Company to present 20 gifts.
