At the ceremony, the organizing committee awarded 55 prizes to authors whose works won, including 5 A prizes, 10 B prizes, 16 C prizes and 24 consolation prizes. Participating works include music, photography, cultural studies, poetry, short stories, painting, memoirs...
Mr. Hoang Xuan Tan - Vice Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee said that this is the first time the campaign for literary and artistic creation is on a large scale nationwide. As a result, more than 120 authors in 10 provinces and cities with nearly 400 works in 6 literary and artistic majors participated.
Mr. Tan informed that the campaign to create literature and art with the theme of praising the tradition of heroic struggle, the spirit of creative labor and the traditional cultural beauties of the homeland and people of Quang Binh, Clearly reflects the reality of vivid life in our beloved homeland of Quang Binh.
"Many works focus on exploring traditional topics, Revolutionary war topics and hot contemporary topics using the unique artistic language of each major. With artistic images, many works has affirmed the unique cultural values of Quang Binh," Mr. Tan said.
The campaign to organize and launch creative works from November 28, 2023, will be announced and disseminated to the Literature and Arts Associations in 62 provinces, cities and specialized associations.
The 5 A prize works include: Music genre, the song Le Thuy, my hometown by authors Nguyen Anh Tri and Nguyen Thanh Huong; photography genre, work Vortex of Time by author Tran Phan Hoang Anh; cultural research genre, the work Education and examination of Canh Duong past and present by author Tran Quang Binh; genre of poetry, the work Poem Collection by author Truong Vinh Hanh; Short story genre, work Song Loan, Phuong Mountain by author Tran Ly Minh.
The winning authors are awarded certificates and prize money according to the contest rules. Of which, prize A is awarded 15 million VND/prize, prize B is awarded 10 million VND/prize, prize C is awarded 7 million VND/prize and consolation prize is awarded 5 million VND/prize.
