The event is not only an important event for the community of people living with HIV and key influence groups, it is also an opportunity for the community to look back on past activities and identify upcoming issues to join hands to improve the quality of life of people living with HIV, towards a full and happy life.
"Live fully" 2024 is a space for people living with HIV to share stories and life experiences, thereby inspiring and strengthening faith in life.
Testimonies from people who have overcome the challenges of living with HIV will help the community understand that with the right support, their lives can be good and meaningful. Many studies have shown that creating a positive and non-stigmatizing support community will contribute to improving the health and longevity of people living with HIV.
The event had the participation of Bui Quynh Hoa - Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, Le Phan Hanh Nguyen - 1st Runner-up Miss Grand Vietnam 2024, Quynh Anh - 1st Runner-up Miss Universe Vietnam, Miss Equality World 2024 Nguyen Trang Nhung, Le Vu Phuong, Khac Trung, Pham Thu, MC Model Minh Khac, Lung Nguyen...
Miss Bui Quynh Hoa said that this was the fifth time she participated in this program. As soon as she received the invitation from Mr. Nguyen Anh Phong, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City HIV/AIDS Prevention Association, she immediately arranged to accept because she considered this a very meaningful activity.
She shared: “I believe that with the support of international organizations, Vietnamese agencies, and everyone, people living with HIV/AIDS will have more opportunities to open up and interact with the community. Up to now, people have reduced their fear and discrimination. This is a very good sign.”
Through the programs, Bui Quynh Hoa also received more knowledge about HIV/AIDS prevention to protect herself and those around her. Bui Quynh Hoa hopes that the event will grow in scale so that meaningful things can continue to be spread. She also believes that the goal of ending AIDS in Vietnam by 2030 can be realized.
Runner-up Hanh Nguyen participated in this activity for the first time and was moved to see the HIV/AIDS community receiving attention, as well as their efforts and struggles to live meaningful and useful lives.
She pledged to use her words and actions to spread messages about HIV/AIDS prevention and control as well as create opportunities for the community of people living with HIV, spreading their meaningful lives. She said she would be ready to accompany them in the next events.
Quynh Anh - 1st runner-up of Miss Universe Vietnam joined the 2024 Live Fully Festival for the first time. "The festival has many propaganda activities, providing a lot of knowledge, and at the same time reminding people how to prevent HIV/AIDS. As a model and runner-up, I use my influence to send the community a message about preventing the disease of the century" - Quynh Anh said.
