If you are tired of Tet dishes, go to the kitchen and try the vegan chocolate recipe below to invite your relatives and friends to enjoy.

How to make vegan hot chocolate

Ingredient:

250ml plant milk (almond, oat, soy or coconut milk)

30 grams unsweetened cocoa powder

30 grams vegan dark chocolate (chopped)

10 - 15ml maple syrup

2.5ml vanilla extract

Pinch

Whipped coconut cream, vegan marshmallows or a sprinkle of cinnamon

Making:

First, heat the plant-based milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until warm (but not boiling). Stir frequently to avoid burning.

Stir in cocoa powder until completely dissolved. Add chopped vegan dark chocolate and stir until melted and fully incorporated.

Stir in maple syrup, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, adjusting sweetness to taste.

Reduce heat and let mixture simmer for 2 - 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. This helps to enhance the flavor.

Pour hot chocolate into mugs and top with your favorite vegan toppings, like coconut whipped cream, vegan marshmallows, or a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Note:

You should use pure coconut milk or cashew milk for a creamier texture.

For a spicy flavor, add a dash of cayenne pepper or ground cinnamon.

Make sure the dark chocolate and sweeteners you use are certified vegan.
