On August 23, a leader of the People's Committee of Krong Nang town, Krong Nang district, Dak Lak province informed that after a period of treatment, Mr. YQNK (37 years old, residing in Krong Nang town) died from a garter snake bite. .
Accordingly, at around 0:00 on August 9, Mr. YQNK heard his son screaming because a snake crawled into the house. Immediately afterwards, Mr. YQNK woke up and chased away the snake.
During the process of chasing away the garter snake, Mr. K was bitten on the ankle by a snake and was taken to the local hospital for emergency treatment.
The victim was then taken to Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC) and transferred to the Central Highlands General Hospital for treatment. However, by dawn on August 23, Mr. K died.
