With a sense of responsibility and youthful enthusiasm, a young man in Thanh Hoa volunteered to write an application to perform police duty.

On November 28, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police informed that with the spirit of youth vanguard, promoting the fine traditions of Vietnamese youth as well as fully aware of the obligations and responsibilities for the task of protecting the Fatherland, young man Nguyen Van The Anh (born in 2006) in Dong Duc village, Quang Dong ward, Thanh Hoa city wrote a voluntary application to perform the duty of the People's Public Security (CAND).

Born and raised in a farming family, since childhood Nguyen Van The Anh loved the image of a police officer and dreamed of growing up to become a police officer.

Therefore, after being informed by the Ward Military Service Council about the 2025 military recruitment work, The Anh learned and determined that participating in military service and the People's Public Security service is not only a responsibility and obligation but also an honor and pride to contribute a part of his youth, intelligence and strength to build and protect the Fatherland. On November 4, 2024, Nguyen Van The Anh voluntarily wrote an application to volunteer to go to perform his People's Public Security service.

It is known that after having a military recruitment plan in 2025, Quang Dong ward has focused on implementing steps to review the number of young people of military age, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of families, thereby coordinating to promote propaganda work on the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws and regulations on participation in military service and People's Public Security service.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Le Anh Tuan - Chief of Quang Dong Ward Police, Quang Dong Ward Police have been closely following and grasping the situation at the grassroots level, regularly contacting and listening to the thoughts and aspirations, encouraging and motivating young people of military age to join the military, and together with their families, encouraging them to volunteer to join the army.

Thanks to that, up to now, young people of the age have understood the responsibilities and obligations of citizens performing military service and public security service. As for Nguyen Van The Anh, he has completed the preliminary examination and is waiting for the next steps according to regulations.
