As an artist participating in the program #TheOrangeTeam - aiming to raise awareness and knowledge about violence against women and girls for artists and influencers, Lanh Thanh expressed his thoughts on this issue.
When asked by reporters about the responsibility of men in protecting women and children, he said: "In my opinion, the responsibility of men in protecting women and children is obvious. If you can protect the weaker, it is already a good thing."
Actor Lanh Thanh said that when he learned about this program, he felt sympathy for his roles in the film. He shared: "When receiving the film script, I was interested in the psychological aspect of the characters. The characters' psychology is not soothed but is constantly affected and oppressed, leading to a somewhat unbalanced psychology. This shows that violence is not only the strong bullying the weak physically, but also violence in words and in psychology."

According to Lanh Thanh, each person understands the phrase "gender equality" according to their own personality. He thinks that if they can sit down and talk to each other, then it is equality.
After the seminar, he thanked and wished TheOrangeTeam to always devote themselves to a civilized and developed society.
Not only Lanh Thanh, but many participating artists also shared their views. MC Tran Anh Huy said: “We cannot remain silent in the face of gender-based violence against women and children. Every small action, every strong voice can contribute to eliminating pain and injustice. Let's work together to protect safety and respect, so that no one has to live in fear or hurt."
Runner-up of Star of the Singles, Kan Hy, said: "Kan Hy is very happy to participate in The Orange Team project - Eliminating violence against women and children. I also hope that I can spread the message, encourage the community to change their thinking and act for a fairer, more civilized society. Together, we can extend our arms, speak up to stop violence, and protect women and children."

Previously, the #TheOrangeTeam communication program organized by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) was held in Ho Chi Minh City to raise awareness and knowledge about violence against women and girls for artists and influencers.
The program aims at November 25 - "International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls" and the National Action Month for Gender Equality and Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Domestic Violence.
