Each fixed station is equipped with a variety of the latest washing and drying equipment from LG with a capacity of up to nearly 600kg of clothes and blankets/day. The mobile station is a pickup truck with a Top-loading Washing Machine and Dryer that will rotate in many areas of Nam Dinh province.
On the first day of operation, the Free Laundry Station in Yen Bai received 700kg of clothes and blankets. Each laundry station has a team of LG staff to assist people in cleaning clothes and blankets.
LG has deployed free laundry stations to support people in Quang Binh and Quang Tri affected by storms and floods in 2020 with nearly 1,000kg of clothes and blankets cleaned by LG staff.
After the program, these home appliances were donated by LG to local educational and medical units to continue serving the needs of the people.
LG is running a special warranty program to help people check and repair LG home appliances and entertainment devices damaged by Typhoon Yagi. The program will take place from September 12 to October 10, 2024 in 24 provinces and cities including: Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Bac Kan, Lao Cai, Cao Bang, Ha Giang, Ha Nam, Hoa Binh, Lai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien.
