According to the decision, the peach blossom growing craft village in villages 4 and 5 in Gia Lam commune, Nho Quan district (old) is recognized; now Gia Lam commune, Ninh Binh province (new).
The decision clearly states that these two villages are granted a certificate of recognition of craft villages by the Provincial People's Committee; enjoy preferential policies on rural industrial development according to regulations.
Developing peach blossom growing craft villages not only helps preserve the traditional beauty of Vietnamese Tet culture but also opens up a new direction for the local agricultural economy. Peach gardens that bloom every Tet holiday have brought high economic value, creating stable jobs for many households.
The Provincial People's Committee requests relevant departments, branches, sectors and local authorities to coordinate in implementing appropriate support policies, helping craft villages to promote efficiency, develop in the right direction, actively contribute to building new rural areas, improve the material and spiritual life of the people.
