On July 14, the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that it had just issued the Regulations for the photo and video contest with the theme "Happy Nghe An - Happy Nghe An 2025". This is an art playground to introduce and promote the beauty of the landscape, unique cultural features and image of Nghe An people to a large number of domestic and international audiences.
The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over, with no limit on the number of entries. The two competition categories include photos and videos. The contest photo is a JPG format digital photo, with a minimum size of 3,000 pixel and a capacity of at least 3 MB. Video format MP4, length no more than 5 minutes, maximum capacity 200 MB. The work was composed in the period from January 1, 2023 to October 1, 2025.
The Organizing Committee encourages works with content that honors cultural beauty, reflects innovation achievements, international integration and arouses the development aspirations of Nghe An province. The entries must ensure legality, copyright and not violate traditional customs.
The prize structure includes first, second, and third prizes in each category. In addition to the certificate, the cash prize will be awarded according to the regulations of the People's Council of Nghe An province. Outstanding works will be selected for exhibition, considered for admission to the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and considered for annual degrees.
The Organizing Committee will receive works from July 15 to October 1, 2025 at the online address: https://nghean.vietnam.vn. All personal information of the author is confidential, only serving the purpose of organizing and communicating the contest.
The organizing committee noted that members of the Jury and the Secretariat are not allowed to participate in the contest. In case of copyright infringement, the Organizing Committee will revoke the award and publicly announce it.
The contest "Happy Nghe An - Happy Nghe An 2025" is expected to contribute to spreading the image of a peaceful, developing and hospitable Nghe An to domestic and international friends.
