The Vietnamese Female Students Association (VFSA) is the first and only organization for female students of Vietnamese nationality around the world, sponsored by the Institute of Labor Science and Social Affairs. With the mission of creating a community connecting Vietnamese female students globally, providing support and companionship in all aspects of project operations, community activities, and more importantly, creating a launching pad and motivation for female students to conquer their dreams in the future.
In this second phase, VFSA wants to accompany young women in the preparation phase to reach out to the world. The demand for beauty and self-care among young people today is very high and young women often look for beauty products and services on the market to beautify themselves. However, in the context of complex economic competition, consumers easily fall into the marketing "trap" of brands. The reason for being manipulated by consumerism in this context can be said to be due to the lack of scientific awareness of the body and, more importantly, the lack of self-confidence.
"Spread Your Wings" is a series of events on the topic "The Impact of Consumerism on Gender Equality" by VFSA, with the main target audience being all those with gender identity as female of all ages, parents with children in puberty, and above all, anyone who wants to take good care of themselves and those around them. Through the "Spread Your Wings" event series, the organization wants to contribute to strengthening your knowledge about consumption - health. The event will include the fundraising fair "Charm 2024" and the workshop "Wise n Wide".
In particular, to help young people become more aware of the seriousness of abortion and unwanted pregnancies, VFSA has established the Nhan Ai Fund with the hope of raising enough money to build a loving home for women with unwanted pregnancies and children born from unwanted pregnancies. Furthermore, to help reduce illiteracy, this money will also be used to build libraries for children. 50% of the proceeds from the workshop will go to the Nhan Ai Fund and the remaining 50% will be used to support fetuses at Doi Coc Cemetery.
