After going through 2 qualifying rounds, this week, "Our song Vietnam" entered the semi-finals with 5 duets: Thanh Lam - Orange, Thu Minh - Vu Thao My, Quang Linh - Pham Anh Duy, Luong Bich Huu - OgeNus and Hoang Hai - LyLy.
Coming to the first duet, Hoang Hai and LyLy brought the mashup "Father and daughter - Sao cha khong" with the appearance of special guest Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long. Not only combining two songs about fatherly love, Hoang Hai and LyLy also cleverly incorporated traditional music and Cai Luong segments into the performance.

The next stage was Thanh Lam - Orange's performance with "Ao moi Ca Mau" with a hip hop remix. Orange showed her creative musical thinking when combining Western folk songs with rap, on a background music that couldn't be more youthful and vibrant.
This is also the first time the audience witnessed diva Thanh Lam sing Southern folk songs in a male voice with extremely smooth chants.
The third duet continued with "The Spoiled Child - A Bowl of Salty Rice" by Luong Bich Huu and OgeNus with the support of guest artist People's Artist Kim Xuan. It tells the story of children who are so busy chasing after the hustle and bustle of life that they forget about their hard-working mother who still waits for them day and night, until they realize that their mother is no longer there.
Following the competition night was the performance of Quang Linh - Pham Anh Duy with the mashup "Bac Bo Chan Que - Ve Di Em", with a youthful and fresh Jazz-Funk arrangement.
Closing the semi-final night were Thu Minh and Vu Thao My with the stage "Autumn Rain - First Love Too Much". The two songs, 8 decades apart, were combined together in an extremely impressive arrangement, with the support of a band and traditional instruments.
At the end of the semi-final night, 2 couples had to say goodbye: Quang Linh - Pham Anh Duy and Hoang Hai - LyLy. 3 couples Thanh Lam - Orange, Thu Minh - Vu Thao My and Luong Bich Huu - OgeNus will embark on the journey to find the golden couple in the final night next week.
