Da Nang Fine Arts Museum announced the exhibition space "Le Ba Dang Art Collection" donated by Mr. and Mrs. Le Tat Luyen - Thuy Khue.

On the afternoon of November 1, the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum held a ceremony to announce the exhibition space of "Le Ba Dang Art Collection" donated by Mr. and Mrs. Le Tat Luyen - Thuy Khue.

At the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, the "Le Ba Dang Art Collection" displays 38 artifacts and 113 documents including paintings, statues, carpets, books, documents, tools, etc. made of many different materials. This is a space to honor the talented Vietnamese artist Le Ba Dang and introduce the collection to the public who love visual arts in Da Nang in particular and tourists across the country in general.

Previously, in July 2023, the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts was presented with a collection of 253 artifacts of the famous painter Le Ba Dang by Mr. and Mrs. Le Tat Luyen - Thuy Khue, two Vietnamese intellectuals living and working in France. The collection includes 131 artworks by painter Le Ba Dang and 16 stone sculptures, 19 zinc prints, 71 molds, and 16 crafting tools. After receiving the artifacts and completing the scientific records for each artifact in the collection, the Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts renovated and adjusted part of the thematic exhibition space on the 3rd floor into the exhibition space "Le Ba Dang Art Collection".

Painter Le Ba Dang was born in 1922, a famous Vietnamese visual artist living in France, from Quang Tri province. Although living and working in France, painter Le Ba Dang always turned to his homeland. He and famous painters such as Picasso, Matta... called on artists and intellectuals around the world to participate in the Vietnam Knowledge Day to support peace and oppose the war in Vietnam. In 2005, painter Le Ba Dang was honored to receive the "Resistance War Against America to Save the Country" Medal from the State and many other noble awards and certificates of merit. He passed away on March 7, 2015 in Paris.
