Although he was destined for art early, actor Phuong Binh's journey to art was not flat.
According to the actor, after graduating, he returned to Jiuzhaigou (currently Vinh Long and Tra Vinh provinces) to intern at the Jiuzhaigou General Dance Company.
However, due to market economy, the music and dance troupes at that time were dissolved, and actress Phuong Binh returned to Ho Chi Minh City to continue her career.
However, to live with her passion for art, actress Phuong Binh has to do all kinds of work, including patching cars to create opportunities to stand on stage.
In 1992, Phuong Binh returned to his hometown of Tra Vinh to get married, live with his wife's family and apply to work at the provincial radio and television station. After a year, the actor still misses his passion for acting, so he discussed with his wife to return to Ho Chi Minh City to work. However, the actor's wife hopes that the two will live together and share the sweet difficulties in the remote province.
Despite his wife's advice, the nostalgia for the profession in actor Phuong Binh has not given up. He confided to his father-in-law and received advice: "We are grown up, our family will decide it ourselves, but our father has no opinion".
That very day, actress Phuong Binh quietly arranged two sets of clothes in a backpacking suit and quietly fled his wife to Ho Chi Minh City to pursue his passion.

Phuong Binh returned to Ho Chi Minh City in 1993, but it was not until 2000 - 2005 that his life began to decline. After more than a decade of living for rent, in 2017 he bought an apartment with installments.
Phuong Binh and his wife have lived apart for 30 years. Later, when the couple of actor Phuong Binh had grandchildren, his wife went to Ho Chi Minh City to visit her family more often.
During her years alone in Ho Chi Minh City to live with her passion for art, Phuong Binh was in many deadlocks, having to borrow money from friends to eat and drink.
However, thinking about "father and mother" who supported his education for 4 years as well as his love for the job so strongly that he fled his wife to Ho Chi Minh City, actor Phuong Binh was determined to " settle down" with acting to the end.
Sharing about the secret to keeping the fire burning in their marriage during their years away from home, actress Phuong Binh sent her sincere thanks to her wife.
The actor confided: "If I had married someone else, my wife and I would have been divorced a long time ago. No woman or wife is willing to live away from her husband, having been married since 1992 until now for 33 years. The time the couple has been close together must be about two years.
Sometimes they only visit once every 3 months, or once every month or once every week. Sometimes when she wants to visit home without money, she is lucky that her wife understands, sympathizes and shares with her husband.
