The project "Blooming City" is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, the Department of Tourism, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with relevant units, with the support of many artists, media units and a large number of people.
The "Blooming City" aspires to create a symbolic space from trees and flowers, contributing to improving the quality of the living environment, creating a cultural - tourism highlight and promoting the image of Ho Chi Minh City. In the first phase, the organizing committee planted 100 Muong Hoa Dao trees along the Saigon River - a flower that symbolizes vitality and community cohesion.





Director - producer Tran Thanh Trung, the initiator of the Vietnam Love initiative, said that the project aims for long-term value, becoming a landscape heritage for future generations. If successful, the "Blooming City" will be expanded to many provinces and cities across the country.
The ceremony attracted the participation of leaders of departments, branches, and sectors along with many artists and beauties such as singer Ho Ngoc Ha, Miss Ngoc Chau, Miss Le Hoang Phuong, Miss Nhu Van, actors Lam Vy Da, Puka, Kha Nhu...
Speaking at the event, Mr. Ngo Minh Hai - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City - called on young people and artists to spread the spirit of loving the city and the Fatherland through practical actions such as planting trees and beautifying the streets.
Director of the Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa emphasized that this is a concrete step in the green transformation strategy, contributing to building a livable Ho Chi Minh City and promoting tourism.
The artists also shared their feelings about the meaning of the project. Singer Ho Ngoc Ha compared "The City of Flowers" to a dream come true, creating an attractive destination for tourists like the flower seasons in Japan and Korea.
Miss Ngoc Chau called on each person to plant a tree or a flower branch to spread the love of their homeland. Miss Le Hoang Phuong hopes this will be an ideal check-in spot for tourists and young people, while Miss Nhu Van expressed her desire to bring some of the beauty of Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City.
Starting from the Creative Park, the "Blooming City" will continue to expand, forming an iconic green space network, contributing to building a beautiful, sustainable and unique Vietnam.
