On the morning of March 15, the preliminary round of the Miss Hoa Ban 2025 contest took place in Dien Bien Phu City. The contestants went through 4 rounds including: Traditional ethnic costume performance; Ao Dai performance, swimsuit performance and talent competition.
The 2025 Hoa Ban Beauty Contest is a vibrant event within the framework of the 2025 Hoa Ban Festival and the 8th Dien Bien Province Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival. The contest is organized to honor the beauty of women in all aspects of virtue - intelligence - body - beauty, thereby contributing to orienting ethics and aesthetics for young people and society.
In the preliminary round, in addition to the on-stage competition, the contestants also participated in the activities "Beautiful with Hoa Ban" and "Friendly Beauty" (through exchange and volunteer activities).
The 2025 Hoa Ban Beauty Contest with the theme "Flower Ban Shapes" is organized at the regional level, taking place from March 21 to 16 in Dien Bien Phu City. The contest is an important highlight in the framework of the 2025 Ban Flower Festival and the 8th Dien Bien Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival.
The final night of the contest will take place on March 16 at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium, for the contestants who have passed the preliminary round. The contestants will perform: traditional costumes of the Northwestern ethnic groups; evening gowns; swimsuits and behavioral competitions (5 best contestants).
The Hoa Ban beauty will receive a crown and a Ring of the Hoa Ban Beauty 2025, along with a prize worth 100 million VND. Previously, the contest was first held in 2017.
