Being a sought-after face in the Vietnamese music market, however, due to family circumstances, the famous female singer had to temporarily put her career on hold to settle down in France. After decades of wandering abroad, going through many different jobs to make ends meet, her “career passion” has never been extinguished.
“There was a time when my fate had to stop. During that time, I focused on my family and children. In that situation, I could not go far to tour but had to be close to my children. My career is very precious but I had to choose my children, that is the duty of a mother,” the 5X female star shared.
After many years abroad, in 2009, the famous singer Hoa Mi suddenly returned to the country and organized a CD launch event. Witnessing the "full" auditorium and the warm affection of the Vietnamese audience, she "broke down": "I didn't expect that party to be so crowded, I was surprised because everyone showed me so much love. After returning to France, I thought I would return to my homeland to continue living with my career. However, I could not overcome my fate when I was stuck with work, and it took 7 years before I could officially return to my artistic activities."
Looking back on her 50-year journey of dedication to her singing career, the famous singer expressed: “Looking back now, I can’t imagine that I’m still sitting here because 50 years is a person’s entire life. I must say that it is a blessing to still be able to appear and talk to the audience as well as sing.”
To mark this important milestone in her career, famous singer Hoa Mi is planning to organize a “music party” to celebrate and thank audiences in Vietnam and France. “Currently, I am preparing to return to France to organize a party to thank the audience, teachers and friends who have helped me on my singing journey,” she confided.
