Despite the sudden heavy rain right before the opening ceremony, hundreds of audiences were still waiting for the performances. When the program started, the rain stopped, leaving a brilliant and emotional atmosphere.
Head of the Jury - Miss Ha Kieu Anh emotionally said: "This is not only fashion but also a way to express national identity. The contestants and designers breathed life into each costume, creating unique cultural works".
Participating in the competition night are 40 contestants of Miss Grand Vietnam 2025, performing designs guided by four mentors including designers Nguyen Viet Hung, Vu Viet Ha, Dang Trong Minh Chau and Ivan Tran. Each team brings its own story: from fairy tales, folk games, cuisine, handicraft villages to beliefs and intangible cultural heritage.
Many beauty queens and runners-up return to the stage as vedettes: Vo Le Que Anh opens with Kham Xa Cu - the design that won the highest prize at Miss Grand International 2024; Tran Tieu Vy closes the performance for Ivan Tran's team with Cuu Hoa Nghinh Thanh; Le Hoang Phuong impresses Thang Long Hoi; while Le Phan Hanh Nguyen closes the Vu Viet Ha team with Phi Nghe Thien Van.
Not only is it a secondary competition to select excellent national cultural costumes to represent Vietnam in the international arena, the event is also a place to honor the talents of young designers, while promoting Vietnamese culture to international friends.
The competition ended with the global performance Con Tuong Vua Hung by Nam Vuong Tuan Ngoc and singer Luu Hien Trinh, bringing a heroic atmosphere, affirming national identity.
