The program lasts from February 12 to March 12, 2026 on DANET. According to a representative of the organizing committee, the Cine Tet 2026 program is built with the message "Welcoming good movies at the beginning of the year - enjoying Binh Ngo spring - longevity filling the house", aiming for emotional entertainment experiences for all ages during reunions. This is also one of the rare online activities in Vietnam that regularly introduces French cinema to international film lovers.
French cinema has long been considered a deep artistic space, where stories about love, family, loneliness and the desire to live are told in a delicate rhythm. This year's Tet Cine continues that spirit with 11 unreleased works in Vietnam, spanning from psychology – history, family humor to romance and drama.
The list of outstanding films includes "Phía trước là cuộc đời" - a touching story about a Jewish family in wartime; "Món quà định mệnh" with humorous colors revolving around family upheavals; "Hội người cao tuổi bá đạo" exploiting the friendship of different generations; or "Ước nguyện của con" - the emotional journey of a mother finding hope for her son.
Besides, there are multi-faceted works such as the romantic film "Let the Heart Speak", the fashion drama "Yves Saint Laurent - The Genius Designer" or the romantic comedy "The Heart Thief".
Representatives of the French Academy and BHD said that the program aims to bring French cinema closer to Vietnamese audiences in the Tet atmosphere, creating moments of relaxation and family reunion.
