The Sketch a Rose music night series is about to end with a carefully invested performance from stage, sound to light, promising to bring a complete experience to the audience.
In the first "break songs", Ha Anh Tuan and music director Nguyen Huu Vuong revealed that two songs will be performed: Ba Me Que (Pham Duy) and Ngoai Ngoai (Phan Manh Quynh). A song of folk songs, a confession of a person living abroad - all share the heartbeat towards his homeland. When played at Dolby Theatre, these melodies are not only music but also a moment of connection, where Vietnamese people everywhere feel their pride and national identity.
Musician Nguyen Huu Vuong shared: All the brothers in the band and orchestra were eager to perform Vietnamese music with Ha Anh Tuan at an iconic theater of dreams. We want to bring the works of musician Pham Duy and many other musicians, the youthful memories of an entire generation of Vietnamese people, the biggest difference of Sketch a Rose in the US".
Conductor Tran Nhat Minh said that the program also introduces young compositions, expressing the modern breath and aspirations of young people. The program will encapulate emotions, love for the country and a message of peace, creating a complete and proud Vietnamese music journey on the international map.
