Hamlet Truong is known as a multi-talented artist when working in parallel in many fields such as singing, composing and writing. Participating in "Shining Star Duo 2026" as a guest judge, Hamlet Truong said he is looking forward to the intersection from young voices. "I hope you will bring new colors and dare to challenge yourself. For me, the most important thing is still the real emotions on stage," the male artist shared.
Speaking about scoring style, Hamlet Truong admitted that he is sometimes quite demanding, because not every performance is persuasive enough for emotions. However, if contestants reach the correct "frequency", he is willing to give high scores. For him, artistic evaluation is not a rigid formula but a sincere vibration.
Mentioning his familiar image in the eyes of the audience, Hamlet Truong said that loneliness is the "material" that makes creativity. "Loneliness is the homeland of creativity. Without a moment of silence for yourself, an artist will find it very difficult to create a complete work," he said.
Throughout his career, Hamlet Truong always kept in mind the saying "what comes from the heart will touch the heart". Besides, he still remembers the advice of his former boss - musician Quang Huy: let the song find suitable souls, because each song has its own life.
As a long-time artist, Hamlet Truong admits that he does not have many friends in showbiz. The male artist rarely participates in gatherings, relationships are mainly related to work. Even close people do not need to contact regularly. For him, closeness lies in understanding and respect for each other's space.
At the present time, Hamlet Truong's definition of success is very simple: contentment. "When I feel satisfied with what I have, I feel much more satisfied than many other degrees," he shared.
