Born in Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Ngoc showed her musical talent very early, learning the piano at the age of 3 and joining the children's music team. In 1998, she became a prominent "piece" of the Mat Ngoc group, making her mark with a series of songs such as Di gioi, Nho than thay, Chuyen message dep. However, in 2004, Thanh Ngoc decided to leave the group to develop a solo career.
The female singer admitted: "The biggest pressure is how to escape the shadow of Mat Ngoc so that the audience can remember me under the name Thanh Ngoc". This decision was proven to be correct when just one year later, she won the Second Prize of the Ho Chi Minh City Television Singing Contest 2005, marking an important turning point on the path of independent singing.
Not limiting herself to music, Thanh Ngoc also tried her hand at cinema, television, MC and judging. She won the 2009 Mai Vang Award for Best Actress for the film fragile Memories and the Best Actress award at the National Television Festival for the film Mother-in-law of the Bride.
After a period of focusing on her family, Thanh Ngoc returned through the show Chi dep dap gio roi song season 1, leaving her mark with her sweet voice and radiant demeanor. Next, she released the EP You Heart, including three new songs, with youthful and modern colors, showing a spirit of constant innovation.
