Before the full release, the chorus of the song had "stormed" social media platforms, and was widely shared and used by audiences in many emotional videos.
Notably, this is the first time in nearly 20 years that Hien Thuc has returned to the soundtrack of a movie – since the profound imprint of the song "Giac mo ngay xua" (Old Dream) in the TV series "Cong mat troi" (Sun Gate). This female singer's reappearance quickly received much attention from music lovers and moviegoers.
Sharing about her fate with the movie "Ai thuong ai men", Hien Thuc said that she had very special emotions when performing this song. After a long enough time to "nurture emotions", her voice also matured to convey stories about family, home and family. "This is a song that makes me feel I need to sing with all my life experiences," the female singer said.
The song "Because we love each other too much" was composed by musician Nhat Minh (Smelod), with a gentle, deep melody and rich lyrics, evoking simple love. The chorus with the lyrics: "Because we love each other too much, naturally our cheeks are soaked..." quickly created a strong spreading effect, which many viewers commented was "heart-stopping", easily touching personal memories and emotions.
Few people know that during the recording process, Hien Thuc burst into tears many times in the recording studio. The female singer admitted that right from listening to the demo, she was very touched when thinking about her family, especially her deceased brother. “The song that makes me most tormented is ‘Why is it so painful to go together’. Life always has parallel uncertainties, and what holds us back is family love,” Hien Thuc shared.
On the side of director Thu Trang, she said that choosing Hien Thuc to perform the movie soundtrack was a carefully considered decision. "Only with Hien Thuc's poignant voice and many experiences can it fully convey the spirit of family love that the song sends," the female director expressed.
