According to artist Anh Duong (from Hue City), when participating in the live painting competition in Da Nang, the artists visited places, famous landscapes, and landscapes as well as visited very famous and modern relics of Da Nang City.
“This is also the material for us to sublimate our emotions. When dawn comes, the artists are already at the drawing spot, when the sun sets, the artists continue to create with their most emotions,” artist Anh Duong shared.
According to some artists who participated in the live painting competition in Da Nang from September 12 to 17, training and artistic creation are very important.
“Since 2014, we have been composing in Da Nang. We are also from Quang Nam, so Da Nang is very familiar to us. Painting about the landscape and our hometown is what we like the most. Especially Nam O Bridge, Han River Bridge, and Fishing Port all have wonderful beauty,” said artist Ha Chau (from Quang Nam).
In addition, the artists also said that currently there are very few works of art and paintings that talk about the beauty of Da Nang City. Therefore, from the direct perspective during the painting trip in Da Nang, the artists created with passion and their very real emotions.
Danang Beauty Exhibition
On September 18, Da Nang Fine Arts Museum organized a painting and drawing exhibition program with the theme of Da Nang Beauty.
This is an activity to preserve the beauty of the land and people and honor the achievements in the construction and development of Da Nang city, at the same time, contributing to promoting the image of the city to domestic and foreign tourists.
The exhibition brings together 20 artists from Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Binh, Hue, Quang Nam and Da Nang with 60 works. The artists actually created at famous scenic spots, historical and cultural relics, and typical architectural works of Da Nang city from September 12 to 17, 2024.
After the exhibition, the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum will select outstanding works to include in the Museum's artifact fund.
The exhibition lasts until October 10, 2024 at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, 78 Le Duan, Thach Thang Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Trinh - Deputy Director of Da Nang Fine Arts Museum - affirmed: "Each work in the exhibition expresses the emotions and perspectives of each artist. All of them express the love and admiration for the natural beauty, the attraction of the cultural depth and history of the coastal city of Da Nang".
According to the Da Nang City Fine Arts Museum, in reality, due to many objective and subjective reasons, the number of fine art works praising the beauty of Da Nang is still very small.
Therefore, the exhibition of paintings on the theme of Da Nang Beauty organized this time has contributed to introducing and promoting the image of Da Nang City to the public and tourists from near and far.
