The Korean version of the movie "That Year's Girl We Chase Along" is a remake of a famous Taiwanese (Chinese) movie with the English title "You Are the Apple of My Eye".
The film tells the story of pure love in school age, accompanied by humorous, interesting and meaningful stories on the characters' journey to adulthood. This film will take viewers from the delicate emotions of a first love, to a complex journey when the love affair lasted nearly 15 years and ended.

Sun-ah is a beautiful female student with good academic achievements, outstanding with her pure appearance and gentle, submitting personality. She is the lover of Jin-woo, who is famous for his mischievous, individual and rebellious style. The two of them have opposite personalities and seem to be in two straight lines parallel to each other.
Dahyun, who plays Sun-ah - the first love of every guy, this was clearly shown from the first scene. Through the interview, she shared: "I will try to bring viewers the most authentic and intimate Sun-ah." The role of Jin-woo seems to have "given Jinyoung a shoe", when he portrays a characteristic of a unrequited, clumsy guy in everything when he first met love. Jinyoung has shown this aspect very successfully, something that only students of that age can feel and clearly express.
