"Hospital Playlist" starring Jo Jung Suk, Jung Kyung Ho, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jeon Mi Do and Kim Dae Myung as five doctors who met for the first time in medical school and have been close friends since then. The film tells the daily stories of doctors and patients. After capturing the hearts of audiences last year, the hit medical drama will return with a second season in June this year.
Jo Jung Suk plays Ik Joon - a famous professor of gecko and pancreatic surgery. New still photos depict Ik Joon's two faces: both a cheerful character and a sincere doctor.
Similar to last season, Ik Joon will bring a bright source of energy to the film. Viewers were eagerly anticipating Jo Jung Suk's return with his unique ability to portray the character.
Jo Jung Suk shared: I waited for part 2 with the same excitement as the audience who loved part 1 and waited for part 2 of the film. I will try my best to bring comfort, although not much, but warmth and healing to the audience".
He said: Since all the actors and staff had a great team spirit in part 1, we could understand each other with just one look. Let's wait for our chemistry, even get closer and stronger in the second part."
The new season of "Hospital Playlist" will premiere on June 17, 2021 at 9:00 p.m. (Korean time).
