Inspired by the novel of the same name by writer Thuc Linh, the movie "The standard of selling mulberry" takes place in ancient times instead of modernising the final period of feudal rule as in literary works.
The film is directed by Le Van Kiet, the film revolves around Nhai (played by Lam Thanh My) - a young bride who was just married to the Vu family, and then accidentally caught up in a terrible "deal" with the Devil.
The teaser trailer of "The treatise of selling mulberry" is a completely new version of Lam Thanh My. Starting with the majestic mountain scenery reminiscent of the Northern mountainous region, the wedding ceremony of the groom Vu The Dinh (played by Huu Vi) and the bride Nguyen Thi Nhai (played by Lam Thanh My) took place in the youthful music, creating a more gloomy space than a festival. Lam Thanh My is a name that is no longer strange to audiences who love spiritual - horror films. The actress made her mark from a young age through the horror movie Doat Hon (2014), Bong De (2021), Con Cam (2024) and most recently "The dream of selling mulberry".
Reappearing in the movie "The standard of selling mulberry", Lam Thanh My is expected to completely transform in her forte category. The film will be released and is scheduled to premiere on September 12, 2025.
