The project was announced at the event introducing Sony Music Vision's upcoming music films in Hollywood (USA).
According to the producer, the film documents Lisa's one-year journey, from performing on stage to daily moments with family and close friends.
Although the release date has not been determined, the first trailer shown at the event has revealed many images of the female idol, including scenes where Lisa proactively invited a group of close friends before becoming famous to participate in the project.
Director Sue Kim - known for the documentary The Last of the Sea Women (A24) and the Kpop idol series aired on Apple TV+ said that she accompanied Lisa throughout the filming process.
She shared: It was a great honor to have traveled with Lisa last year. The film will reveal unpublished aspects of her life.
As for Lisa, the female artist said: I am very happy to have the opportunity to share these special moments with the audience. Working with Sue Kim was a great experience, and I believe this is just the beginning.
The female idol was born in 1997, is a Thai citizen, and is the youngest member of Blackpink. In 2021, she debuted solo with Lalisa, setting a record for the most-watched solo MV of a K-pop artist in 24 hours. She is currently the global ambassador of Celine, Bvlgari and is running her own company LLOUD.
The appearance of the personal documentary marks Lisa's next step in her independent career development after launching her own company and operating outside of YG Entertainment.
