The work is directed by Hoang Tuan Cuong, co-produced by Mega GS and People's Police Cinema, and is expected to premiere on December 31, 2025 to welcome the 2026 New Year holiday.
Belonging to the category of psychology, emotion, and action, Blood Paradise exploits the thorny topic of scams of Vietnamese people going abroad to work. The script was written by director Hoang Tuan Cuong, Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy and the screenwriting team, and has been in the careers of the film industry for more than a year. The director said that this is the most challenging project of his career, wishing to bring a humanistic perspective and the message "father is the true paradise".
The cast includes Quang Tuan, Hoai Lam, Quach Ngoc Ngoan, Sy Toan, Thanh Huong, Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy, Hoang Trinh, Bich Ngoc, Dinh Hieu, Thanh Son, Minh Tuan, Hoang Yen... The film will be filmed at many locations in Ho Chi Minh City, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai and An Giang.
Appearing at the opening ceremony with a simple style, Hoai Lam said that he had lost nearly 10 kg to suit the role and set a goal of continuing to lose more. The male artist revealed that this character "must only make the audience happy". This is the first time he has collaborated with Quang Tuan - who gave many compliments to Hoai Lam's diligence in learning and expressed confidence in this combination.
Quang Tuan, after a series of roles in horror films, also saw the film Blood Paradise as a new opportunity to exploit current events and many emotions. He said that the script attracted him right from the time he read it and believed that the film would leave an impression on the audience.
