The final round of The Moneyverse tournament (aired on the afternoon of January 12 on VTV3) has officially taken place. The top 6 astronauts compete for a cash prize of 1 billion VND, a prestigious career from leading financial institutions in Vietnam, a CPA Australia scholarship worth nearly 150 million VND and a VinFast VF 3 car.
The Top 6 in the final round of Coin Universe include: Huynh Thi Quynh Nga (Vietnam Aviation Academy), Le Van Minh (FPT University Da Nang), Doan Quoc Duy (VinUni University), Dinh Tuan Duong (Academy of Finance), Truong Xuan Loc (School of Economics, Vinh University) and Chan Yee Lun (Eastern International University).
Before entering the first challenge, the top 6 had an impressive debut with a performance of the theme song of the Universe of Money by singer "Willistic".
Departing from the "Galaxy Space Station", the astronauts must think together, become a team to overcome the challenge.
Entering the fierce competition - "Exploring 4 planets", the astronauts "passed" two rounds: Knowledge and Challenge.
The challenge on the next planet - Planet Preservation is to identify risks. Astronauts must solve 3 questions related to life situations to identify risks according to the topic given by the program.
Entering one of the most intense rounds of the Universe of Money, the top 6 astronauts entered the "final battle" at "Black Hole - Black Hole of the Universe".
The astronauts began to receive free codes and began to negotiate to their advantage to find the final code, which was a series of 11 numbers. With the power of the Star of Responsibility, Duy Loc was the one who did not get deducted money even without negotiating.
The last 2 astronauts who still have the most money in their cards, winning the opportunity to get closer to the champion position of the Universe of Money, are: Doan Quoc Duy (VinUni University) and Le Van Minh (FPT University Da Nang).
Entering the final round called “Big Bang - Simulated Investment”, the top 2 excellent teams competed in a debate format. Players drew lots to choose to support or oppose the proposition given by the program.
After discussing and evaluating the process from the competition round and the performance of the two astronauts at this year's tournament, the jury made the final decision: Doan Quoc Duy (VinUni University) officially became the "Coin Universe Star of 2024", owning a cash prize of 1 billion VND and a VinFast VF3 car.
With a journey full of effort, intelligence, courage and bravery, surpassing more than 25,000 students from nearly 30 universities across the country, Doan Quoc Duy successfully conquered the "mysterious planets", becoming the first Vietnamese student to become the Champion of The Moneyverse in 2024.
