In early May, the atmosphere of preparation for the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 is becoming more vibrant than ever. One of the most anticipated items for locals and tourists is the stage that is gradually emerging on the east bank of the Han River, where brilliant fireworks competitions will take place combined with a top music festival.
Located on Tran Hung Dao Street like every year, the DIFF 2025 stage not only possesses a favorable central location but also makes a strong impression with its "super-huge" size. According to the Organizing Committee, this year's stage has an area of up to 1,605.8m2, 60% larger than the DIFF 2024 stage. With an open design and double the width last year, this is considered one of the most magnificent DIFF stages in the 15-year history of the Da Nang Fireworks Festival.
Not only increasing the area, DIFF stages are also being "heavily invested" in integrating a series of advanced performance technologies. First is the modern mechanical system, with 5 large conical arches, in which the central arch reaches a height of 21m, nearly double last year. The two 18.5 m wide wing arches and two additional arches on the riverbank add flexibility and shaping ability for the stage. The combination of large stage area and mechanical engineering creates a multi-layered and lively performance space.
Accordingly, the new generation of LED floor technology will help the audience enhance the visual experience, while optimizing the view from all stands. The arched sound has been upgraded to suit both fireworks and live concerts.
In particular, this year, AR technology (enhanced reality) will be integrated into the Sun Paradise Land (SPL) application, allowing visitors to interact and experience fireworks via smartphone - a new and interesting step in the DIFF experience of visitors.
