Asian Kids Fashion Week (AKFW) is a fashion event for children held annually by fashion director Nguyen Hung Phuc. In recent years, the scale of the program has not been limited to Vietnam but has been raised to the level of being organized in other countries in the Asian region, most recently Korea.
This year, the program took place in Ho Chi Minh City with the theme 'orange Bridge - 7 Colors', gathering the participation of many designers and child models.
Taking on the opening role for the event with the Indian dance performance Nagada Nagada, child model Minnie c c c c c cdi impressed with her graceful dance movements, acrobatics with high difficulty, stirring up the atmosphere of the program.
c c cdi was awarded "Best Talent" at this year's fashion week.
According to Ms. Tiffany Nguyen - Minnie c cties' mother - this performance was rehearsed by the child model in less than a month. "My first time on stage as a first face, cally was very nervous and worried. At first, because she was not used to the intensity of continuous training, the 8-year-old girl sometimes burst into tears because of fatigue and confusion. However, just a few minutes later, Cindy happily practiced again. The dance has many difficult moves such asyball in the air, I love challenges so I am determined to conquer them," said Ms. Tiffany Nguyen.
After the opening performance, Cindy replaced the outfit to take on the vedette role for the collection of the designer from India. When Minnie Cindy's catwalk video was shared on social networks, many viewers commented on the skills of the 8 -year -old child model.
At this year's week, Minnie c c c cdi was chosen to perform for 9 designers from Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam... During the two days of the program, the girl had to be present to practice early in the morning, makeup, perform and go home at midnight. "I told you that I ended up being a model so tired, but you still like it very much and hope to become a celebrity in the future," said the young model's mother.
Before shining at this year's Asian Kids Fashion Week, Minnie c c cally studied catwalk for two years in director Nguyen Hung Phuc's class. The child's mother said that the child was once shy and rarely communicated with strangers.
"When I started studying at an international school at the age of 3, I cried for three months before I could get better. If I was hungry, I would rather go hungry and not dare to tell the waiters. Thanks to studying catwalk, I now become bold, confident, and no longer shy like before," said Ms.Cathy's mother.
According to her, the 8-year-old child studying as a model originally started from her mother's dream of becoming an unfinished model, but later became her own passion. Learning catwalk helps Cindy know how to walk standing, have a fashionable taste, and be more open. She does not care about whether or not she can become a model in the future, but the important thing is that her child is trained and does what she likes.
In addition to learning catwalk, the 8-year-old model also participates in many physical activities such as jostling, dancing, singing, dancing, flying yoga or basketball every day.... The mother said that because she is studying at an international school, sister has more time for extracurricular activities and physical development. In addition, she still ensures the completion of cultural exercises at school.
Cindy's real name is Nguyen Thy c c c cam, nickname Minnie, has dual Vietnamese and American nationality and is a 3rd grade student at an international school in Ho Chi Minh City.
