Appearing in the program "Multi-dimensional glass", artist Ngoc Hieu shared about his journey of falling in love with the art of snail painting .
After many years of living alone as if hiding in a snail shell, artist Ngoc Hieu decided to start making snail shell paintings. Through that, the female artist wants to tell another story about her life.
Artist Ngoc Hieu confided: "When I make paintings with snail shells, I always think of myself in them. I arrange rough, ugly, or defective shells like myself in the picture, and the shells are uneven, but when arranged, they accidentally exude a natural beauty. ”.

When it comes to shell paintings, many people often think of conch mosaic paintings, but artist Ngoc Hieu chose a different direction.
Instead of having to saw the shell to reveal the shiny part inside, Ngoc Hieu uses what nature has bestowed upon it. Artist Ngoc Hieu uses those same rough snail shells to rearrange them into a work of art.

One of the shell works that artist Ngoc Hieu loves most is the painting called "Vietnamese Heart". With this painting, the female artist assembled many pieces of broken snails into a large heart shape and named it "Vietnamese Heart".
Artist Ngoc Hieu once caused strong emotions with his story of overcoming fate when he turned discarded snail shells into works of art. With skillful hands, the female artist not only changed the fate of the shells, but also changed her life.

Ngoc Hieu understands that each snail shell carries a story and if placed in the right place, it will shine in its own way, just like Ngoc Hieu's own life.
