That is a cassette bought in 1987 for 3 taels of gold. It is not only a "play-able investment" of a young singer, but also a milestone marking the beginning of a passionate journey with music.
The famous singer recounted that from that small cassette, her career took a new turn. In 1988, Ngoc Anh had a 6-month tour in four Eastern European countries, opening a major turning point, making her famous as a vibrant, explosive singer on the light music stage. Returning home, Ngoc Anh quickly won the hearts of the audience, becoming one of the most popular singers in the early 1990s.
By 1993, the album Khong dam dung ra chieu had sold more than 150,000 copies, and the song of the same name was voted the Favorite Song of the Year. Since then, the audience has affectionately called her the title "Queen of cassette". Recalling the golden milestone, Ngoc Anh was moved: "That was the moment I clearly felt the love and respect that the audience gave me".
In the digital music era, the female singer still considers the cassette as a priceless souvenir, a place to preserve the memories and affection of fans. She believes that digital music is fast-listening, fast-forgetting, while each record is a journey of attachment between the artist and the audience.
Looking back on the past, Ngoc Anh affirmed: "My whole life was really 6 months off to give birth, the rest was spent on music".
Sending a message to the young generation of artists, she emphasized: Youth is a short but precious time to strive for and shine with talent. Only seriousness and dedication can help artists stand firm and leave a lasting impression on the public.
