This is not only a career milestone, but also a tribute to the homeland of the West - a land that nurtures creative inspiration throughout this designer's artistic journey.
Inspired by 20 Southern folk cakes, Nguyen Minh Cong has turned them into sophisticated and emotional haute couture designs. From "Sherock", "Cake Khanh", "Lot Banh" to "Coconut jam", "Squatting Banh Duong"... each costume is recreated vividly, bringing both a rustic breath and maintaining luxury and the spirit of Vietnamese craftsmanship. The collection is an expanded version of the collection that set a Vietnam Record in 2021 - "Mini fashion collection made from Southern folk dishes", now reborn in its true shape on the professional catwalk.

The opening night gathered a series of famous faces such as Luong Thuy Linh, Khanh Van, Ngoc Chau, Quynh Chau, Phuong Anh, Que Anh, bringing an eye-catching performance. Starting with the song "Song of the Southern Land" performed by Phuong My Chi and ending with the image of Miss Luong Thuy Linh in the gorgeous design "Banh Trang Re", the show touched the hearts of viewers with music, light and memories of the homeland.
Not stopping at the exhibition, the exhibition "Memory of Sea Arms" opens up a multi-sensory space with two main areas: "Memory Area" - displaying 13 remaining designs between the scenery of the countryside, wharves, bamboo bridges; and "Ancient kitchen" - where visitors enjoy folk cakes and herbal tea in a cozy atmosphere, recalling their childhood.

Nguyen Minh Cong shared: "I not only want to do fashion, but also want to recount the memories of my hometown in the language of beauty".
The exhibition is open for free from October 15 to November 15, 2025, welcoming all audiences who love Vietnamese fashion and homeland.
