Cao Ngoc Bich - a 25-year-old beauty from Hung Yen, won the title of Inspirational Beauty and achieved Top 10 at Miss Earth Vietnam 2023. Ngoc Bich graduated from the Central University of Art Education and is working at a construction company in Hanoi as a project developer.
Being given the opportunity to participate in the international Miss Earth 2024 arena, the beauty from Hung Yen said that this is a great honor for her. Through this journey, she can bring the image and people of Vietnam closer to international friends. At the same time, this opportunity helps Cao Ngoc Bich speak up, conveying the messages and projects about the environment that she cherishes.
Besides her beauty and the necessary skills of a beauty queen, Cao Ngoc Bich also attracts attention with the message about the vegan lifestyle she brings to Miss Earth 2024.
The beauty from Hung Yen shared: “Growing up in a peaceful countryside, my parents were both farmers, so rice fields, gardens, nature, and plants were a part of my childhood, and my love for nature was also formed from there.
As someone who cares about both physical and mental health, pursuing a green lifestyle for a better life is my philosophy. You may not have the opportunity to follow a vegan menu continuously for many years, but being a vegetarian is not only good for your health, but also helps protect the environment, animals, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions from livestock farming.
With a fighting spirit and pride in her Vietnamese sash, Cao Ngoc Bich shared when she was announced as the representative to compete: “Miss Earth with the mission of “Beauty for a Purpose” is a meaningful contest. In addition to honoring the beauty of young women, the contest also conveys a meaningful message about environmental protection. This is an issue that needs to be concerned and put first by every citizen, business, and government. Therefore, representing Vietnam in this beauty contest is my great honor and responsibility.”
Miss Earth 2024 will be held in the Philippines, with nearly 90 contestants from many countries and territories competing.
The competition will begin at the end of October 2024. Currently, Cao Ngoc Bich - Vietnam's representative is also rushing to prepare and practice her skills before leaving for the competition.
